Nawgati has announced a strategic collaboration with Dubai-based Seed Group aimed at overhauling the fuel retail experience in the United Arab Emirates. The partnership combines Seed Group’s regional reach with Nawgati’s digital tools for station operations, with the goal of delivering faster, more transparent, and efficient fueling for both customers and operators.
What’s happening?
In a statement shared by Nawgati co-founder and CEO Vaibhav Kaushik, the company said it will work with Seed Group to bring its technology into the UAE market at scale. The focus is on improving station-level efficiency, reducing friction in queues, enabling clearer information flows, and tightening operational control, so that forecourts can move more vehicles with fewer bottlenecks.
Kaushik framed the tie-up within the UAE’s push toward sustainable, smart mobility, saying the market is primed for solutions that digitize the last-mile of fueling and create a better on-site experience.
Tackling Practical Pain Points
Fuel retail is increasingly defined by software: demand forecasting, real-time visibility, digital payments, and analytics that help station owners make faster decisions. By pairing a regional operator with a fuel-tech platform, this partnership is positioned to tackle three practical pain points the industry often cites:
- Throughput and wait times: Smoother traffic flow and quicker service windows.
- Transparency: Clearer, real-time information for customers and station staff.
- Operational discipline: Data-driven monitoring that cuts waste and improves uptime.
