Marriott and Samhi Hotels to open three new properties in India

Marriott International and Samhi Hotels have partnered to launch three new properties in India. The agreement will add over 568 rooms, boosting the hospitality sector in the country.

The projects include W Hyderabad Hitec City, Bengaluru Whitefield, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, and The Westin Bengaluru Whitefield. Marriott stated these hotels will open between 2026 and 2028. This move will enhance their joint presence and service offerings in India.

Rajeev Menon, President of Marriott International for Asia Pacific (excluding China), highlighted their focus on expansion. “We currently operate 153 properties in India. Strengthening our presence will help us meet the growing demand for business and leisure travel,” he said.

Ashish Jakhanwala, Chairman, Managing Director, and CEO of Samhi Hotels, shared his enthusiasm for the collaboration. “We are excited to work with Marriott to bring these iconic brands to key locations in Hyderabad and Bengaluru. These cities reflect modern India’s vibrant energy,” he said.
