Startup aims to simplify monetization for creators and brands on Instagram, WhatsApp, and Telegram

Fresh Funding to Strengthen Product Innovation

Delhi-based social commerce infrastructure startup Kosmc AI has raised $200,000 in a pre-seed funding round backed by a group of undisclosed angel investors from India and the Middle East. The company plans to use the funding to expand its no-code product suite, strengthen affiliate integrations, and grow operations in India and Southeast Asia.

According to a company statement, the capital infusion will also support product development tailored for creators and digital-first brands navigating a fragmented social selling landscape.

Addressing a Key Gap in Social Commerce

Founded in 2024 by Ankur Gupta and Manavta Narula, Kosmc AI was born from a simple yet crucial insight: despite booming engagement on platforms like Instagram, WhatsApp, and Telegram, creators and small brands struggle to monetize effectively.

“While creators build enormous followings on social platforms, converting this engagement into revenue remains painfully inefficient,” said Ankur Gupta, CEO and Co-founder of Kosmc AI. “Kosmc was built to solve this.”

The startup is building an infrastructure layer for the creator economy that enables frictionless commerce through tools that require no technical expertise.

The Kosmc AI Product Suite: Designed for the Creator Economy

Kosmc AI offers a no-code, plug-and-play toolkit to power online storefronts and commerce workflows directly from social media profiles. The product suite includes four core tools:

  • Link-in-Bio Storefronts – Creators can set up customized shopfronts within their bio links on social platforms, transforming traffic into conversions.
  • Chat Automation Tools – Automated systems help manage customer interactions, frequently asked questions, and orders through messaging apps like WhatsApp and Telegram.
  • Smart Checkout Links – Streamlined mobile-first links for one-tap purchasing and minimal cart abandonment.
  • Affiliate Program Infrastructure – Tools that allow brands to launch affiliate partnerships with micro-influencers and content creators seamlessly.

All features are built with a mobile-first and creator-first philosophy, which Kosmc believes is essential for modern digital commerce.

Strong Early Adoption and Global Reach

Despite being founded just a year ago, Kosmc AI reports over 160,000 monthly active users across 25 countries. These users include digital-first entrepreneurs, content creators, solopreneurs, and early-stage consumer brands.

The startup’s early traction is driven by a global shift toward decentralized commerce, where individual creators, influencers, and small businesses operate outside traditional online marketplaces.

“Our vision is to enable anyone, regardless of technical skill, to tell their story and earn online,” said Manavta Narula, Co-founder and COO of Kosmc AI. “We want to eliminate barriers between creators and their potential to earn.”

Riding the Creator Economy Wave

The global creator economy, estimated to be worth $250 billion in 2023 and expected to grow to $480 billion by 2027 (according to Goldman Sachs Research), is rapidly expanding. Yet, most creators still rely on third-party platforms for monetization, where commissions, lack of data control, and poor integration limit earning potential.

Kosmc AI is among a new breed of startups addressing this imbalance by offering direct-to-consumer tools that empower creators to own their audience and income streams.

Next Steps: Expansion and Scaling

With fresh funds in the bank, Kosmc AI plans to:

  • Enhance its product suite with AI-driven capabilities to further automate sales and engagement processes.
  • Expand regionally across Southeast Asia, where mobile commerce adoption is rapidly increasing.
  • Onboard strategic brand partnerships with D2C companies and creator agencies.

The startup also aims to partner with community-led platforms to improve creator support and increase its footprint in emerging markets.

Building for a New Age of Commerce

Kosmc AI’s pre-seed funding marks an important step in its journey to redefine how creators and brands engage in social commerce. With a scalable infrastructure, a sharp focus on no-code tools, and a creator-centric mindset, the startup is well-positioned to lead the next wave of monetization innovation.
