Investments of ₹4 crore in Tractor Factory Agricultural Machinery

A pre-seed funding round led by early-stage investment firm All In Capital raised ₹4 crore (roughly $500,000) for Tractor Factory, an electric tractor technology company based in Jabalpur.

Shailesh Tiwari founded Tractor Factory in 2024 as an omnichannel marketplace to help farmers with their mechanization needs by lowering costs and increasing the accessibility of buying and selling used tractors. The money will be utilized to expand the company’s market reach, enhance customer satisfaction, and advance its technological capabilities.

Investments in Tractor Factory Agricultural Machinery

Established in January 2022 by Kushal Bhagia and Aditya Singh, All In Capital is a sector-neutral venture capital firm focusing on startups creating goods and services for both the Indian and global markets. It invests between $100,000 and $500,000 in pre-seed and seed funding rounds. This investment in Tractor Factory aligns with All In Capital’s approach to promoting cutting-edge agricultural solutions, especially those that increase farmers’ accessibility and efficiency.

Bharat Founders Fund, Devc, and Dhingra Partners Prosperity Trust were notable investors in the pre-seed round. Angel investors Puneet Kumar ( Steadview Capital), Aayush Phumbra (founder of Chegg), Abhishek Goyal (founder of Tracxn), and Samir Sood (founder of Venture Highway) provided the funding. With this funding, Tractor Factory will expand its platform and services to transform India’s agricultural machinery market by utilizing technology to adapt to farmers’ changing demands.

Challenges Ahead

Tractor Factory faces opportunities and obstacles as it tries to make a name for itself in the cutthroat field of agricultural machinery. Rural farmers’ lack of knowledge and trust in new technology is a significant obstacle to market acceptance. Cultural changes may be necessary to encourage a shift from diesel to electric tractors. Battery disposal and non-renewable sources are environmental concerns because they can undermine both electric tractors’ sustainability goals and electric vehicles’ environmental benefits.

Dependability of power supply and lack of charging stations are some of the infrastructure limitations which pose major problems. However, Tractor Factory is dedicated to revolutionize the agricultural machinery sector despite these obstacles.
