Backed by Stellaris Venture Partners, the AI-first startup aims to streamline mobile QA through no-code, natural language-driven automation tools.
India-based startup Drizz, a cutting-edge mobile app testing platform powered by Vision AI, has secured $2.7 million in seed funding. The round was led by Stellaris Venture Partners, with participation from Shastra VC, angel investor Anuj Rathi (ex-Chief Business Officer at Cleartrip), and Vaibhav Domkundwar, founder of Better Capital.
Founded by Veteran Engineers
Founded in 2024, Drizz is the brainchild of Asad Abrar, Partha Sarathi Mohanty, and Yash Varyani, a team of engineers with rich experience at some of the world’s top tech companies. Their prior tenures at Amazon, Coinbase, and Gojek equipped them with firsthand insights into the bottlenecks of mobile QA at scale a challenge now tackled head-on by Drizz.
The team’s mission is simple yet ambitious – modernize the mobile app testing experience, making it faster, more reliable, and accessible for technical and non-technical users.

Natural Language Replaces Complex Scripting
Traditional mobile app testing is dependent upon the sensitive locator-based scripting which is tedious and prone to errors. Drizz replaces this with natural language prompts that allow users to write and run test cases using plain English; an extremely compelling factor for QA analysts, product managers, and developers as it minimizes dependence on automation engineers or script-reliant tools. Even users with limited technical background can write test flows such as, “Open the app, go to the cart, and check out”, without touching code.
At the heart of the platform is its Vision AI engine, which simulates how humans interact with app interfaces by visually recognizing UI elements. According to the company, this enables over 97% test reliability, reducing the frequency of false positives and maintenance issues that plague traditional solutions.
Purpose-Built for Modern Development Teams
Designed to support iOS and Android platforms, Drizz integrates seamlessly into modern CI/CD pipelines, helping teams push features faster without sacrificing quality. The platform supports no-code setup, automated regression testing, and visual bug tracking, helping teams save significant time and engineering effort.
The tool is already gaining adoption from mobile-first companies, especially in domains like fintech, e-commerce, and healthtech, where rapid feature deployment and bulletproof QA are essential.
Co-founder and CEO Asad Abrar stated, “We want to make high-quality mobile testing accessible to everyone in a team. With Vision AI, we’ve abstracted away the complexity so teams can move fast without compromising on reliability.”
Use of Funds: Talent, Product, and Global Expansion
With the freshly raised capital, Drizz plans to:
- Enhance its Vision AI capabilities, including better multi-device visual testing
- Grow its engineering and customer success teams in India and abroad
- Expand go-to-market operations across North America and Southeast Asia
- Invest in security and compliance, targeting enterprise-grade customers
