Startup ADDA, known for its innovative software solutions for housing society management, will invest ₹15 crore in India to expand its business over the next year, co-founder and CEO San Banerjee announced. Established in 2009, ADDA serves clients in over 10 countries, including India, the US, the Middle East, and Singapore. In India alone, ADDA has a robust presence, with clients in around 80 cities and a total client base exceeding 3,500 communities.

Global presence and client base

Founded in 2009, ADDA serves clients across 10 countries, including India, the US, the Middle East, and Singapore. Currently, around 80 cities in India utilize ADDA’s services, with a total client base exceeding 3,500 communities.

Comprehensive management features

ADDA offers essential features for housing society management. These include visitor management, billing and collection of society dues, and facility booking. Additionally, advanced capabilities such as violation tracking and an AI-powered community helpdesk enhance user experience.

Strategic investment plans

Banerjee stated, “We will invest ₹15 crore in India operations to expand our presence in the association segment across seven major cities.” Furthermore, the funds will target developers who are increasingly focused on resident experience and post-sales automation in today’s AI-driven landscape. The company aims for a 20-25% revenue growth in India. Importantly, ADDA is profitable, generating revenue solely from software subscriptions.

Unique selling propositions

A significant unique selling point (USP) of the ADDA platform is its no-advertisement policy. This ensures zero risk to user privacy, promoting secure living amid rising cyber threats. Notably, major developers like DLF, Rustomjee, Prestige, Sobha, Oberoi, Seawoods Estates, and Brigade use ADDA. Additionally, companies such as Embassy Group and ASBL in India, along with Knight Frank Singapore, have created branded experiences powered by the ADDA app across their properties.

Diverse clientele in India and abroad

In India, the majority of ADDA clients are Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) or Owners Association Management Committee members. Conversely, in Dubai and much of the Middle East, Owners Association Management Companies (OAMs) managing multiple communities directly subscribe to ADDA. Similarly, in the US, Self-Managed Homeowners Associations (HOAs) have opted for direct subscriptions to ADDA.

In conclusion, ADDA’s investment in India’s society management market underscores its commitment to enhancing community living. This strategic move positions the company to meet the growing demand for efficient management solutions. As ADDA expands, it aims to redefine the housing experience for residents and developers alike, driving significant growth in the sector.
