Blinkit, Zomato’s quick commerce arm which is known for its 10-minute grocery deliveries has taken a groundbreaking move to revolutionize emergency healthcare by introducing a 10-minute ambulance service in Gurugram. Through this swift and affordable solution a person with critical healthcare needs can be at ease.
Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa on X (twitter) unveiled this service. It kicks off with a fleet of five ambulances and each of them is equipped with state-of-the-art medical facilities. It also includes oxygen cylinders, automated external defibrillators (AEDs), and necessary medicines. As per the company, well- trained paramedics and assistants will go along with skilled drivers to ensure prompt and professional care during emergencies.
By including the ambulance service into its app, Blinkit aims to make emergency medical services more accessible and efficient for people living in urban areas.
