Influencer marketing platform gears up for global expansion and AI scaling

Fresh Funding Boost from The Chennai Angels

Bengaluru-based creator intelligence startup Qoruz has raised $500,000 (approx. ₹4.17 crore) in a pre-Series A round led by The Chennai Angels, with the total round targeting $1 million. The investment round also attracted participation from senior marketing professionals, media agency leaders, and advertising ecosystem founders, signaling strong industry confidence in the startup’s data-led approach to influencer marketing.

Backed by Strong Investor Network

This round of financing follows on the heels of the seed funding of ₹4.5 crore raised by Qoruz from Dexter Angels and the IIM Indore Alumni Fund before. Experienced investors’ backing again demonstrates the increasing importance of tech-enabled influencer marketing platforms in a digital-first brand environment.

Strategic Use of Funds: AI, Market Expansion, and Global Play

Qoruz intends to use the funding to:

  • Invest in AI capabilities for smarter creator discovery and campaign performance analytics.
  • Expand to new verticals such as gaming, wellness, D2C brands, and sustainable goods.
  • Strengthen its international presence particularly in the Middle East and Southeast Asia where influencer-led commerce is growing rapidly.

According to industry data, influencer marketing in these regions is expected to grow 25%+ annually and platforms with AI-backed solutions like Qoruz are positioned to facilitate that growth.

A Vision to Build the Creator Economy Infrastructure

Co-founded in 2014 by Praanesh Bhuvaneswar, Prabakaran B, Aditya Gurwara, and Priya Vivek, Qoruz helps brands discover, evaluate, and collaborate with content creators to drive real business results. Unlike conventional influencer search tools, Qoruz treats creator marketing as a data-first, performance-driven strategy rather than a gut-feel promotional tactic.

“We’re not just building a platform, we’re building an ecosystem for the creator economy, where creators are central to how products are discovered, trusted, and bought,” said Praanesh Bhuvaneswar, Co-founder and CEO of Qoruz.

He added, “This capital allows us to deepen that foundation and bring operational precision to a space that has long operated on instinct.”

Impressive Client Roster and Growth Ambitions

Qoruz claims to have powered campaigns for over 1,000 brands and agencies, including giants like:

  • Amazon
  • Flipkart
  • Coca-Cola

Qoruz offers the most advanced array of tools, allowing marketers to determine creator authenticity, track campaign metrics, and measure real-time ROI with ease

the company has set a highly ambitious $30 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) by 2026 driven by enterprise level adoption that is growing at 3x year-on-year.

From Discovery to Campaign Execution: A Full-Stack SaaS Platform

Qoruz provides more than just influencer listings. It enables:

  • AI-based creator matching
  • Audience demographic analysis

This full-stack infrastructure transforms the influencer marketing journey into a structured, repeatable, and ROI-measurable process, making it highly scalable for brands of all sizes.

Expansion to High-Growth Global Markets

Qoruz has set its sights on expanding in:

  • Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar)
  • Southeast Asia (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam)

The company plans to localize its product offerings for these regions, including multi-language support, region-specific creator databases, and compliance tools aligned with local ad regulations.

Industry Momentum for Influencer Intelligence Platforms

Worldwide influencer marketing is expected to grow into a $24 billion dollar industry by 2025. And India is already on its way to a sizable proportion of that. AI-enabled platforms, such as Qoruz, are now key to helping brands leverage data to make decisions on brand partnerships. Qoruz provides brands with metrics, insights and a way to align their business needs, obviating the need to use “gut feeling” or celebrity bias to make decisions.

The Road Ahead

Qoruz’s pre-Series A funding round was just the first step in a journey conducing to its larger mission: professionalizing the creator economy through organized workflows, intelligent tools, and global connectivity.

Backed by strong investors, a growing client base, and more advanced AI features in the works, Qoruz will be one of the market leaders in this fast-growing creator tech space.
