In a significant leadership transition in the lifestyle and fitness industry, Siya Wadhwan has joined Boldfit as Head of Brand Marketing, stepping out of a revolutionary four-year tenure at boAt Lifestyle.
Siya Wadhwan’s Role in boAt’s expansion
Wadhwan was instrumental in driving boAt’s expansion from Rs 800 crore to over Rs 23,000 crore in revenue by playing a significant part in the expansion of the company’s smartwatch and audio businesses.
Her stint at boAt was characterised by high-impact campaigns, product development, and strategic alliances, establishing the company as a strong player in India’s competitive consumer electronics. In a poignant goodbye on LinkedIn, Wadhwan described her experience as a “dream for any marketer” and expressed gratitude to Aman Gupta, co-founder of boAt, for his vision and leadership.
At Boldfit, a fast-evolving sportswear and fitness brand, she will be apt to use her expertise in customer engagement, branding, and digital transformation to dig deeper into India’s health and wellness market on behalf of the company. Her joining indicates Boldfit’s commitment to aggressively scale up in a country whose consumer market is becoming increasingly driven by fitness-oriented customers.
Before boAt, Wadhwan held a Brand Manager role at Bajaj Electricals, leading digital transformation initiatives and product strategy for Bajaj and Morphy Richards in South India.
Her transition to Boldfit comes at a time when fitness and wellness brands are intensifying their marketing efforts to capture a larger share of the growing health-conscious consumer base in India.
With Wadhwan leading brand marketing, Boldfit is set to boost its digital and product storytelling, engaging consumers on a deeper level in a fast-changing industry.
