Zyod, a fast-growing startup based in Gurugram, India, is making waves in the global fashion industry by simplifying and speeding up clothing manufacturing for brands around the world. Founded in early 2023 by Ankit Jaipuria and Ritesh Khandelwal, Zyod is a business-to-business (B2B) platform that connects fashion brands with reliable manufacturers and uses technology to make the entire process, from design to delivery, much easier and more efficient.
What Does Zyod Do?
At its core, Zyod helps fashion brands turn their creative ideas into finished products quickly and at a lower cost. The company offers end-to-end solutions: brands can work with Zyod’s team to design new styles, choose fabrics, and manage production, all through a single platform. Zyod’s main promise is the industry’s fastest turnaround time and the lowest minimum order quantities (MOQs), making it easier for brands of all sizes to launch new collections without the risk of excess inventory.
How Zyod Stands Out
Zyod’s biggest strength is its use of technology. The company has developed its own ERP (enterprise resource planning) software, which acts as the “brain of manufacturing.” This system gives factories clear instructions on what to produce, how to make it, and when to deliver it. It also helps track every step of the process, reducing mistakes and making sure orders are completed on time.
For factories, this means better use of their capacity many small and medium factories in India operate at less than 33% of their potential. For brands, it means more transparency, less waste, and higher quality products delivered faster.
Clients and Growth
Zyod started by serving smaller, direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands but quickly shifted focus to larger enterprise clients. Today, Zyod works with over 550 brands in 18 countries, including big names like Reliance, Rare Rabbit, Allen Cooper, Tata Cliq, NEXT (UK), Boohoo (UK), and Urban Research (Japan). India currently makes up 30-50% of Zyod’s business, depending on the season, but the company is rapidly expanding overseas.
Recent Achievements and Funding
In June 2025, Zyod raised $18 million in a Series A funding round led by RTP Global, with participation from existing investors like Lightspeed Venture and new partners such as Stride Ventures and Trifecta Capital. The majority of this funding will be used to expand Zyod’s customer base from 18 to over 40 countries, especially in the US, UK, Middle East, Japan, Australia, Brazil, and Africa.
Zyod’s annual revenue is already in the “double-digit million dollar” range, and the company aims to triple this figure in the next financial year.
The Future of Zyod
Looking ahead, Zyod plans to further automate its production process using technologies like IoT (Internet of Things), QR code tagging, and RFID tracking. The company also wants to improve its mobile app, making it easier for brands to communicate with manufacturers, approve orders, and track progress in real time.
By blending deep industry knowledge with cutting-edge technology, Zyod is not just making fashion manufacturing faster and more efficient, it’s helping brands of all sizes compete in a rapidly changing global market.
