The Powerball jackpot has climbed to an estimated $975 million after Monday night’s drawing ended without anyone matching all six numbers, extending a run that has now gone 43 consecutive drawings without a jackpot winner. The next chance to claim the prize comes on Wednesday, Aug. 12.

The winning numbers for the Aug. 10 drawing were 6, 37, 54, 55 and 64, with Powerball 10. The Power Play multiplier was 3X. No ticket matched the complete combination, allowing the jackpot to roll forward from the $905 million offered on Monday to $975 million.

The new total makes this the largest Powerball prize offered so far in 2026 and places the jackpot among the biggest in the game’s history.

No jackpot winner, but three tickets delivered seven-figure prizes

Monday night did not produce the headline winner, but it was hardly an empty drawing.

A ticket sold in Tennessee matched all five white balls and carried the Power Play option, lifting its prize to $2 million. Two more tickets, sold in California and Maryland, matched the five white numbers and won $1 million each. Together, those three tickets accounted for $4 million in prizes, even though none matched the red Powerball required to take the jackpot.

That is one of the more striking details behind the latest rollover. The jackpot remains untouched, yet three players came within one number of winning it.

Powerball jackpot has gone unwon since May 2

The current run began after the jackpot was last won on May 2, 2026, when two winning tickets in Florida and Texas split a $20 million prize.

Since then, drawing after drawing has passed without a ticket matching all five white balls and the Powerball. Monday marked the 43rd consecutive drawing in that search.

What began with a comparatively modest jackpot has consequently grown into a $975 million prize, bringing Powerball back within reach of the billion-dollar territory that has defined several of the game’s largest jackpots.

When is the next Powerball drawing?

The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 12, at around 10:59 p.m. ET. Drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

To win the jackpot, a ticket must match five white balls selected from numbers 1 through 69, plus a red Powerball selected from 1 through 26. U.S. tickets cost $2 per play, while Power Play can be added for $1 to increase eligible non-jackpot prizes.

The odds explain why a jackpot can continue growing for months. The chance of winning Powerball’s top prize is approximately 1 in 292.2 million.

A $975 million jackpot arrives as Powerball expands its player base

This jackpot is also unfolding during a notable expansion for the game. Players in the United Kingdom can now compete for the same top Powerball jackpot as participants in the United States.

The ticket structures are not identical. The U.S. game costs $2 per ticket, while the U.K. price is listed at £4, or about $5.32 in the supplied reporting. Lower-tier prizes also follow a separate structure in Britain.

For Wednesday, however, attention will be fixed on the same number: $975 million.

After 43 drawings without a jackpot winner, one ticket matching six numbers would end a streak stretching back more than three months. If that does not happen, Powerball’s remarkable run will continue.
