Tarun Sharma Joins foundit as Chief Product and Technology Officer

Jobs platform foundit (formerly known as Monster APAC & ME) has appointed Tarun Sharma as its new Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO), strengthening its leadership team as it pushes forward with AI-led innovations in recruitment across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Middle East regions.

In his new role, Sharma will spearhead product and technology innovation at foundit, focusing on connecting the right talent with the right opportunities through deep tech, artificial intelligence, and hyper-personalisation strategies.

Sharma brings with him a diverse portfolio of leadership experiences across prominent global brands including PayPal, Yahoo, Walmart, Naukri.com, and Maersk. Most recently, at Maersk, he led significant platform and experience transformation initiatives, driving key advancements in the global logistics sector.

Apart from his corporate leadership positions, Tarun Sharma is also an active angel investor and advisor to early-stage startups in industries such as travel, fintech, and AI-powered technology. His background in digital payments, machine learning, search monetization, and scalable product architecture positions him as the ideal person to guide the changing needs of talent tech.

Sharma holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur.
