The project involves the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the KAVACH system, a cutting-edge Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS).

The newly awarded contract, valued between ₹500 crore and ₹600 crore, involves the supply and installation of the onboard KAVACH system, along with testing and commissioning to meet RDSO standards. It also includes comprehensive wiring, harnessing, and cabling for seamless integration with the locomotive KAVACH system, as well as 11 years of maintenance services to ensure long-term operational efficiency.
