Campa Cola becomes the co-presenter for IPL 2025 in a ₹200 Crore Deal: Sources

New Delhi: Campa Cola is reportedly set to secure the co-presenting sponsorship rights for the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) in a deal worth ₹200 crore, according to sources familiar with the development. If confirmed, this move would mark a major milestone for the brand, owned by Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), as it seemingly overtakes Coca-Cola’s Thums Up, which held the rights last year.

Strategic Expansion on the Horizon

This is a calculated victory for Campa Cola, as sources indicate that the ‘co-presenting’ sponsorship position is one of the most competitive advertising chances in the event. After being brought back to life by RCPL in 2023, the brand has been attempting to increase its market share in a market that is presently controlled by PepsiCo and Coca-Cola.

According to insiders, obtaining this sponsorship would significantly increase Campa Cola’s national visibility and enable it to compete more fiercely in the soft drink industry, even though no formal announcement has been made.

IPL as a Key Marketing Platform

Beyond its flagship cola, RCPL has also introduced sports drinks such as Spinner and RasKik Gluco Energy, which sources say are expected to make their IPL advertising debut. Reports further indicate that Spinner, co-created with cricket legend Muttiah Muralitharan, has already signed sponsorship deals with teams like Lucknow Super Giants, SunRisers Hyderabad, and Mumbai Indians.

Awaiting Confirmation

To formally confirm whether this alleged contract would be finalised, industry insiders are currently keeping an eye on their IPL or RCPL shots. If authorised, this would ignite furious competition among the beverage giants and move the ball in India’s competitive soft drink business.
